For speakers

Dear Speaker,

Thank you for being a part of Wikimania. The location of the main program is: http://wikimania.wikimedia.org/wiki/Programme

The link from your presentation should take you to the appropriate proceedings page on Wikibooks. If you have modified your presentation materials, please update them on the abstract page your final presentation text or slides as soon as you have them. Check your speaker biography information, and make sure it is accurate and complete.

Attendees are encouraged to comment directly on the Talk pages of the proceedings; you should also feel free to start any discussions you would like to see on that page.

To those in group sessions, please talk to your session moderator, so that you can meet beforehand. To find out who your moderator will be, or for other questions about your speech and room setup, please contact Sam Klein or Andrew Lih.

DAY OF PRESENTATION

• As a convenience, we have a special speaker’s lounge in room SR E311, which is on the top floor of the conference center. There you will find a quiet area for work, including power ports, wireless Internet and refreshments.

• If you are speaking in the Grosser or Kleiner Saal, your presentation will be audiocast and recorded. Some sessions will also be videotaped. Recordings will be available for downloading by the following day.

• You may use your laptop computer for presentation and projection. If you do not have one, please find someone with a Staff badge to have yours transferred to another laptop. (Even if you do have one, it is a good idea to have a copy made onto one of the Wikimania USB keys.)

AFTERWARDS

• If you are providing a paper for publication in the proceedings, please upload final revisions BY AUGUST 19 to the Wikimania Proceedings page directly, at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Wikimania05.
